Default 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

We have a 95 with a bad transmission. The manf. date is 9 of 94. We are looking at a 93 gc and was wondering if the parts are enter changeable.

Why not go to a wrecking yard and have them look it up on the interchange list. I'm sure a Google search will find it also. Or do you just want our opinion?

I have tried googling it and I'm not technically blessed as others. I posted here in the cherokee forum because I thought I could get help with this. I'm looking for answers yes.

What engines are in both jeeps?

The 42RE was used in the 1993.3 to 1998 ZJ with the 4.0 engine, OR the 46RH from 1993.3 to 1995 with the 5.2.

The AW4 also was used in the 1993 to 1993.3 ZJ with the 4.0.

That's the best I can do.

Default grinding noise

Hey, I just got a 1995 jeep grand Cherokee Loredo. and Idk if its normal but when I have it in park and on and I take it off 4x4 all time to natural it is fine, but if I am in neutral and move it to 4x4 all time while the engine is still on and move it to reverse or drive i hear a nasty grind is that normal?
