I have a 1995 jeep cherokee 4.0l 6cyc with 128k miles. problem is that I am not getting any spark from dist.
1. repalced the crank sensor
2. replace dist rotor and cap
3. coil tested good
4. replaced the PCM (#26)
5. no alarm in vehicle
6. 12.4 volts to positive side of coil with ign on
7. fuel pump pressurizes on key on.
8. replaced ASD relay.
9. noticed a "clicking" sound from behind golve box on occasion.
10. oil pressure guage reads 40psi will attempting to crank. tach guage does not move or pulse
11. battery connections appear clean and in good contact.

Check the ground side of the plug on the coil with a test light, it should flash when you crank the engine over. If it stays lit or does not flash at all, it could be a bad cam sensor. The cam sensor is located under the distributor cap and rotor.

Hopefully the design was improved for '95.
