My ignition was messed up so I went to the junk yard and bought the swtich and the electric modual as a unit for 10 bucks. I installed it and now I got this security alarm going off, "flashing lights and blinking" I can start the car but not get in gear. How do I stop it?

 

Unlock the passenger door with the key. It may shut the alarm off.

 

My old 93 did that every time you disconnected the battery. I locked and unlocked the hatch with a key and it turned it off.
