I was trying to replace the speakers in a 1992 jeep cherokee's read tailgate. I am pretty sure that the speaker covers are attached to the interior door panel like the front speakers are. I was only able to find 2 screws in the top of the panel close to where the pistons that hold the door open are but I was unable to remove the panel. Is there some kind of trick to getting it opened? Does anyone have any kinda of write up on on how the door/panel is put together?

there are about a dozen of those christmas tree one time use panel clips, be perpaired for every one of them to break. so buy a kit of those, and start pullin. at least thats how it works on a 1995 cherokee.
