My 09 is rusting from the inside out under the gas door. I know - common problem on this Jeep. I decided to have it fixed. Guess what - the quarter panel is no longer available. They discontinued it in July of 2018. This same panel fits 06 thru 10 models. What happened to the 10 year rule? (Manufacturers must make parts for 10 years). Anybody have any ideas what I can do? I've looked everywhere for one but no luck. Thanks much

 

You might want to check your local Pick-'n'-Pull yard to see if they have a WK (2005-2010) Grand Cherokee (specifically, a 2008-2010 model) that you can take the parts off of that you need... also maybe call around to different dealerships, or go to different body shops to see if they can locate those parts for you... regarding the 10yr rule, I'm not sure why they don't still make it... makes no sense to me...
