06 Grand Cherokee Laredo
My 2006 grand Cherokee Laredo has wet spots in some areas around the rear differential. I'm pretty sure that it is the seal. I am just wondering what a seal would cost and is it an easy repair to do at home or does a mechanic need to do it

the longest part was waiting for the gasket material to cure before i put the new gear oil in it. That took 12 hours. I'm sure there are other "make a gasket" materials that could be used. I neglected to read all of the instructions on my product before opening it or I would have looked for something else.
