05 Grand Cherokee 4.7 running issues
Hey everyone I am new to the forum. I have a 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee which is my daily driver, my toy is my 94 Mustang GT. I bought my Jeep a over a year ago, and have had runnability issues in cold weather. Its a 4.7L which runs great, just in cold weather when you come to a stop the idle will fall on its face, sometimes it will catch itself and idle fine, but most of the time it will just die. It always starts right back up and never throws a check engine light. I've talked with all the shops i use to work at and none of them have ran into this problem. My first thought was the IAC motor was acting up, so i threw and IAC at it, did a tune up, cleaned the injectors and am still having this problem. I was at the auto parts store the other day and ran into a guy with a 4.7 Cherokee that is having the same problem with his. Has anyone experienced this problem and whats the solution. The only other thing that comes to mind is that possibly air intake temp sensor's heater circuit is not working and causing this or the computer needs to be flashed? Any info would help.

Typically an EGR valve acts up more regular, this is definitely weather temperament. Once its 50 degrees outside all the time it will never act up till fall comes back around.
