05 3.7L will not shift out if 1st

05 3.7L will not shift out if 1st
I have an 05 3.7 that will not shift out of 1st gear. The shift will indicate it’s in drive. I can move the gears down but it has no affect on the transmission shifting. Goes into reverse fine everything sounds ok. The truck has been sitting for about 6 months. I put a new battery in. I have codes p0501 and p0700. Any ideas what I should change first? Thank you for all your help.
