04 cherokee rear end noise

I just got a 04 grand cherokee and it is not 4 wheel drive. but when i make a hard left hand turn the rear end makes a deep sound grinding sound but when driving down the road its all fine. It only does it going left but makes the same noise with backing up to the right. Any idea's ? any help would be great thanks.

Sounds like your right rear wheel bearing. Turning left puts extra load on it causing the noise. Noise when turning right would indicate a bad left bearing.

ok found out what it was, it was the the wrong oil with no additive in it. when i took it in to have the 100,000 mile service on it, the book at the dodge dealer ship had the wrong oil listed. i had to go under the jeep and look at the tag under the rear end. it said 75-140 sync. not 90 w...lol thanks any way for the help.
