have an 03' Grand Cherokee Limited, 6 cylinder, rwd, 103,000 miles.
I am having starting issues actually hard starts, this is what the jeep is doing. 1st time starting (crank, crank, crank, crank, crank, crank) for as long as you want to hold it. I have only tried for a maximum of 20 sec. 2nd attempt it usually starts quickly like it should. I know I am losing pressure at the rail when the car is off, I haven't used a fuel gauge yet but I have pressed the valve on the fuel rail and there is no pressure. When the car is running it runs fine until I let it idle for about 15 min. After 15min the jeep starts having a misfire. Yesterday it gave me the #3 cylinder misfire, after doing some reading I found that this is a common problem, because of the location of the fuel injector combined with the heat of the manifold. I replaced the #3 injector, along with all of the lower O rings. Other parts that have been replaced recently (with in the last 6,000 miles) Fuel Filter, Fuel pump, #3 fuel injector.
I thought the problem was fixed, but after replacing orings and #3 injector, the car started better but not quickly, the Idle smoothed out, I took it for a test drive (20 min) turned car off, and problem still exist. Now when I let it idle I am getting 3 DTCs P0301, P0171, P0174.
This is my fiance's jeep and I don't want her stranded. I have to get the Jeep back to normal. I plan on replacing the O2 sensors as well just because its time. Will the 02 sensors cause the starting issue?
AAAAHHHHH! help is needed
