The Zombie Hunter Story!
Well figured it was about time! Been building my XJ for a couple years now. It was in sad shape when I got it.
The woman that was loosing it in a divorce didn't want the soon to be ex-hubby to have it so her and her boyfriend took it out and run it off in a pond and left it. The ex-husband wound up with it any way, water filled engine and all.
A friend of my bought it from the ex-hubby and tried to fix her up but gave up and traded her to another friend of mine who rebuilds vehicles for another Xj that was lifted and ran good.
She looked sad when I got her. Water in the oil and front diff. but new fuel pump!

New Look!
New 30s. She had 3 inch Rusty's coils up front already. I added 3 inch AAL in back.
Homemade rack. Wasn't happy with the rack.

Thank you so much. Its been a labor of love. I love this Jeep.
Not sure on the weight. Probably more than it should I tend to over build stuff. The main bumper is 4x6 rectangular tube 1/4 inch wall 46 inches long I think. What ever the measurement is from one of the bottom of the lower rear quarter to the other.
I've actually redone the swing out hinge, pics to come later.

Puked A Motor...
Well after about 4 months with the old water logged engine it gave up.
The night I got her to the shop we put 5 oil/atf/seafoam changes through her 4.0L trying to get more life out of her. Got alot of the residual water out of the oil but she was to far gone to save, crank bearings shot.
Donor engine from a 93 XJ two door. Bought the whole Jeep for $500
