The rear frame on the 88 rusted to ****, then I found a clean southern 98 with 220K for a grand so I bought it.

SO my stuff showed up from serious offroad yesterday, the stem conversion kit was missing all the hardware, so I Emailed him, hardware is on the way!

 

Starting to get interesting. But still gonna be a long time till I use it.
Saggin *** with 4 33 mtrs and 4 steel rims with 2 street tires in it

Cleaned up a bit

The backs broken 2 bolts for the shocks even after being PB blasted for a month straight.

Im diggin, Slight trimage is going to happen but they dont rub at reasonable flex so im thinking bumpstop and be happy :cheers2:

Story time,
I decided to take my girl My bro and his girl wheeling
It went fine until I got to the rock ledge that had been covered in mud, so I tried the usual just bump it.

Instead of hopping up it slid me off to the side so I readjusted and tried it again

doing this in the process


Yes that is a bent tie rod and I bent the actual rod end.

So we fixed that up and here is a pic of us pulling it out.
I had all 4 33s smoking like ***** I am unlocked.





The rock rocks now have a decent rubber coating


Thats the ledge it was alot easier in the dryer morning. It was raining while we were wheeling so it was just bad.

Lesson learned

That one is the worst the others are okish. I bought them for the rims, all I can say is holy ****ing road noise.


Cut the fenders a bit more

Also I have welded the rear axle and am digging it

 

Im getting clayton lowers with a hiem on one side and the other is a bushing, for $60 Im not going to complain.

Also jeep got some love today and I went wheeling.


I approve of summit wires for the cost

Short arms wont flex.
