Hi im new to the lift kits and stuff so sorry bout the newbie questions, but i was wondering what all would i need to replace on my xj when i install my bastard pack which is 3-4 inches of lift in rear and 3 inch coil springs in front? i dont want to go over 4 inches though, cause i heard you have to get a new drive shaft and im not tryig to go there! U joints on drive shaft. Degree shims will help with vibes. Lift shackles is what helped with my vibes. Im at 4.5" lift in rear with no vibes.

Can't you also go with a transfer case drop kit?

Yeah but I would avoid it at that low of lift. You loose 1/3 of your ground clearance you just added with a 3" lift doing t-case drop.

I would lift Jeep replace all u--joints then drive it. If there is no vibes sweet. If there is degree shims or t-case drop to fix it. Sye is always best or hackintap, but if nit in the budget you do what works for you.

If your Jeeps lift if known to sit a little higher than advertised or you dont have alot of bumper/armor I would go 4°. If your Jeep has alot of added weight or your lift is known to settle I would go 2°.
