xj lift help please!!😁
Hi im new to the lift kits and stuff so sorry bout the newbie questions, but i was wondering what all would i need to replace on my xj when i install my bastard pack which is 3-4 inches of lift in rear and 3 inch coil springs in front? i dont want to go over 4 inches though, cause i heard you have to get a new drive shaft and im not tryig to go there! All help is much appreciated! Thanks

U joints on drive shaft. Degree shims will help with vibes. Lift shackles is what helped with my vibes. Im at 4.5" lift in rear with no vibes.

Yeah but I would avoid it at that low of lift. You loose 1/3 of your ground clearance you just added with a 3" lift doing t-case drop.

I would lift Jeep replace all u--joints then drive it. If there is no vibes sweet. If there is degree shims or t-case drop to fix it. Sye is always best or hackintap, but if nit in the budget you do what works for you.

Alrighty and as of now i already have roughcountry 2 inch shackleson my xj so hopefully the vides arent there when i lift it, and how much would u joints cost me? and im worried bout my brake cables not being long enough? do u guys just remount them some other place or get new ones?

whats shims? and t case?
|
If there is vibes, leaf spring degree shims or tcase drop.
|
what degree shim would u get for a 3.5 inch lift?
|
If your Jeeps lift if known to sit a little higher than advertised or you dont have alot of bumper/armor I would go 4°. If your Jeep has alot of added weight or your lift is known to settle I would go 2°.
