For now, yes.

You know you're going to want to go to C/Os eventually. You might as well do it now. It's easier to do than coils up front and you won't have to redo it when you decide you want C/Os next year.

You can use that effort to link the rear and do C/O's on the rear.

easy - two horizontal tubes with end plate welded to the side of the chassis rail, cut out the shock tower, run a vertical hoop between the horizontal stubs, and crossbrace at the top

They make ORI's 15 min from my house. I can probably get a deal from them locally since I interviewed for a job there a while back, but if not I know they can at least tune them there.

C/O's are short for coil overs, like a King coil over for example. ORIs are a brand of struts that don't use a spring, like a Fox float shock.
