Well, here's the update! Over the past weekend (27-29 APR), myself, some local Club members, CF members AND CF moderators came on down to Daytona Beach, FL for Jeep Beach 2012! What a great event! Well, that Friday my plan was to go to school. The night before took out the 4* shims and added a 1" transmission drop. And I think I cracked the fuel line somewhere along the way. Leaking fuel like no ones business. Take the hard line off, go to napa and the guy couldn't find any leaks. I then replaced the fitting and little rubber lines and still leaking. Well, there were about 7 pin holes where the bracket goes into the I take manifold. Not a good morning. Ended up buying extra fuel injector tubing and routed that from the fuel rail to the bottoms connection. Some pictures for y'all.

My work partner!

I used a basket to load the 33x12.50x15 for transport. What a funny pic! Looked like a wheelie! The first pic is test fitting the 33 on the front!

Then, it was time to hit up Daytona. Roughly 200 miles from home an about a 3 hour drive.

Well, arrived there at about 1900-1930 and it was time to add the tires!

Then, as usual, stickers! BAHM! And it's reflective!

Put one on the font bumper too just for craps and laughs.

That night, met up with everyone! Outlaw Star, Busted Knuckle, Huntingman, Aerosynch, DrewjHarper (CF Memebers/Mods) and then their crew and then just random other people. Needless to say, that was a goodnight! Then it was time for bed in the back of the XJ! It's a right fit for someone who is 6'1"

Next mining, bright and early, headed to the speedway. Soo much money and soo many show rigs. What I would do to them if they were mine! Clayton Offroad had a KILLER XJ there! No pics though

Then, time for this guy to hit the obstacle course!

After the obstacle course, did some more walking around, talked to some vendors, got some more stickers and key chain type deals (winch hook straps). Bought $10 worth of general raffle tickets. Ended up a scoring a high lift out of it! Waited in the damned crowd!

Hit the CTI deal after where you drive up on two jacks, opposite of each other and flex two wheels at once. 9.5" with the sways and aired up tires.

Then it was closing time! Really didn't get a chance to get any flex shots on the obstacle course because you can't get out. So, I found a hill at the speedway to use.

Had some buddies give me some of their stickers. Brand new motorsports/4x4 shop opening up: Karnage Motorpsorts!

Then, time to hit the sack!

After staging, we rolled out with our crew, primarily the people from South Florida and T&T Customs out of Wyoming! Did the 5 mile beach drive then stopped to take pictures!

My favorite pictures.... The CherokeeForum crew. DrewjHarper, Aerosynch, Huntingman, Busted Knuckle. Aerosynch couldn't get his xj in there. 3 black XJ's and Huntingman's WK2!

Some pictures of Betty:

A shot of the XJ front ends. Oh, and a WK2 thanks to Huntingman!

Then, sadly it was time to leave. Heard from the parents it was pouring at home, not a drop in Daytona! On the way home, stopped in Deltona to eat lunch with Family Friends. Then headed out. About half hour later, I was so damn tired. Too drained to continue for my safety and others. Stopped at a Racetrac and slept for half hour in the parking lol. By the way, they have the nicest gas station restrooms I've ever been in!

But, this is how I knew I was back in South Florida. Black corrugated 6" tubing BUNGEE CORDED to the side of a car. Interesting.

Finally, hit with high gas prices.

Doing big things. Had a great time last night! Finally jeep through its paces. I had run the lift and tires on the obstacle course at Jeep Beach, but it was just that, an obstacle course. Hit up our local trails with our local group! Also, replaced the valve stem... Well had little Latino shop do it for $8. Was worth it.
