had to replace the altenator when we got back to camp. which turn out to be a real pita. the spare i got was also toasted. so my buddy shawn ran home that night and picked up one up and got it to me the next moring. many thanks to him

Yah, it was a bad trip for altenators, I toasted mine and shawn's is over charging. So when will you be up and running? Ive got to pull the interior, beeline it and put some drain plugs In

hopefully i will get it up and going this weekend. driving the honda gets so boring.

Update since i havent done one in a while ( work really cuts into the jeep time:icon_mad:) Though with all that extra work comes extra cash to burn on the jeeps lol:thumbup1:. So i've been gathering random parts to get some stuff completed this winter. Got metal to build a front bumper, working getting more so i also build a roof rack and new track bar braket. I spent this weekend making a custom wiring harness to replace a bunch ghetto rigged set up for at my extra stuff. Which include my roof lights, bummper mounted hella's, cb, rock lights, e-fan switch. Going to make custom cables for my winch so i can use it front or rear.

Well its been a while since I've done anything more than maintence or fixing broke stuff. Had to take a bit of a break form the hobby to get some things taken care of in the life dept. Good new about that is I was to pick up my late Grandma's house and attached 2 car garage for cheap. Also picked up a 92 YJ.

A budddy of mine and I are making a trip out to New Mexico over the Thanksgiving Holiday to visit with another buddy whose station out there and do some wheeling.

Goals are to get the Cherokee ready for the X-country "expedition" from Ohio to Alamagordo NM, Wheel with and drive it back. I did something similar back in 08 to Phoenix but that was more of a 6 month stint.

seeing posts with out pictures are no fun, so here are some form our last 2 trips. Im driving my YJ in one and the Cherokee in teh other
