the white xj
Well I just joined so I figured that would post up my current project. Its a white 95 4dr that i pickup off a friends a ex girlfriend. She brought to me to be fixed for clunking noises...and then i ended talking her into selling it to me.
It had 3'' lift already on it and it consisted of spacers, blocks, shackles on stock shocks, brakelines, and the sway bar links were cut.
Pic of when it was purchased:
I had the RE 3.5" super flex and the RC 3'' aal sitting in my garage waiting to go on my 88. So i got to work replacing the lift. I used the RC 3" coils up front and used some s10 leaves inconjuction with the 1.5 shackle out back. Sold the 2'' spacers and the aal for some cash. i used thr RC 9000's all the way around.
I put 4 baja's on the roof and 2 hella 500's on the bumper:

after scrouging on CL i came across a rear swing out with reciever and d-rings so jumped on it:
then i put on the C4x4 hooks and brackets from my 88 up front. Then i did some wheeling in the woods out behind the house.

She's been down for the the week as 90% of the brake system is being replaced for one reason or another. The last thing to go on is the master cylinder and that'll be tonight hopefully. I put on the YJ front brake lines for an extra 3" of clearence just in case.
I ordered 4 of the treadwright guarddogs (31x10.50) and they should be here next week.

These will be the 2nd set of tires ive gotten through treadwright. The first set being the atg's 235/75r15 and I was extremely impressed with them. Shelled with while I was arizona. If take you of them like you should a normal tire they'll be problem free

got the tires mounted today
i took'er out for a spend after mounting them... my first impressions are good.... I need to trim up front and possibly throw my RE 3.5" coils in also.
I'm also looking for a better set of disconnects, the RE Gen II's are pain in the ***. problay looking at the jks's.
Planning on going up to bundy hill next weekend with a friend from detroit to give his cj-5 and my XJ and really good shakedown before we go up to drummond Island for the jeep Jamboree
