These should be the last wheeling photos before I put the long arms on. They should be here today or tomorrow. You can see in one of the photos me using my tractor supply farm jack to winch over a log I high centered on.

Long arms are in, but my dad and I might need to mess around with the lengths to dial in the wheelbase and castor some more.

When we set both lower arms to the same length, the wheelbase would not be equal on each side of the jeep. We ended up adjusting them until both sides measured the same.

I haven't driven it yet, but my dad said it rides a lot nicer, and it didn't ride too bad to begin with.

Finally got to drive it. It is awesome. It absorbs bumps twice as well. I love these long arms.

So the verdict is that Rough Country long arms will work with 3" of lift.

The suspensioin is not maxed out, all 4 wheels are firm on the ground. Limiting factor: brake lines then probably shocks.

I think the link is broken can't see the picture. Really want to see those long arms. I have 4.5 lift in mine and the ride is hell. Long arms a worthy investment?

Not a whole lot for updates, just some minor things. I've been wheeling a little, but I'm bad st stopping for pictures. Recently I've added a mountain bike mount to the interior and relocated the amp from the seat to interior spare tire area.
Things on the to do list:
Shackle relocation bracket, think I'm going to make my own, not sure.
longer brake lines, think I'm just going to get YJ lines
and oil change

So does it ride better with the long arm kit? Any regrets?

Also, how did you fab the release for the spare tire pivot? Does it rattle?

It rides a ton better. That fact alone made the purchase completely worth it. Also, I'm not afraid to beat it up offroad any more. I dont hear squeaking lcas for days after wheeling now either.

I just bought the pivot point. Its from hitch-haul. It's. 32 bucks from WalMart. I dont think I could have built it for that cheap.
