I bought this Cavfab steering something like 2-3 years ago when they first came around. They used to use 1.5x0.25" DOM tubing with Ruffstuff heims and rattlecan spray paint. All I've done is redo the paint. Now they use sold steel rod and i'm not sure what heims they use. It tracks well and at 4"s I can't complain, will hit 70mph one handed no issues and has taken a couple good hits on rocks.

Great build! Have you thought about any built in storage behind the rear bench? Maybe some removable tool boxes or something.

I checked out their stuff, I like it. I think I will go with their complete steering setup.
I do think I like the IRO 3link setup still though, for the removability aspect.

Thanks,
I have and I will do something there half will be my sub box obviously, and the other half will be all my gear ie....... recovery equipment, tree protection, etc.etc..
I will be doing Ruff Tuff seat covers ( local company) they are the best there are though, with their molle rear attachment seat backs for all the small stuff.

I'm planning on ordering Stinky Fab's brackets and making my own long arms when the time comes. Stinky Fab's setup I think is the best and comes in aluminum if you'd prefer, they also don't require a crossmember integrated into the system but sell a beefy crossmember if you'd like to upgrade. I have Rusty's 1/4" crossmember with a modified high clearance tcase skid so I would just get the brackets and weld/bolt them to my stiffeners.

That would be good, if you don't need the full bench in the back you could swap in two bucket seats and make a center console for the rear

I never heard of them before now, they build some nice stuff for sure.

I like the bench, ya never know when ya might need to take a nap, and lucky enough for me I am short enough to still be able to sleep back there.

Been slacking on updates once again. And I have not taken a ton of pics along the way either.
So here are a couple to get up to date with where she is today.

And this weekends project is to get this all finished up and installed so I can get rid of the stinkbug effect she has with her *** in the air.

She does like to look back at it though. LOL

Man I suck....
I was on such a rampage to get this running I quit taking pic's along the way.
I have been driving it daily 70mi. round trip for me to work and back for the last 2 weeks now. I will get some pics of things all finished up, and the obvious poser pic until I can get out and play.

There are still alot of things I will be doing to it, and I will try to take pics along the way...

Some pics of my custom gauge cluster.
I am running a Blutooth scan tool, and tablet to handle my Spedo, Tach, Water, Volts.
My Fuel and Oil Press. are gauges.

This was a very lengthy install, but well worth it in the end.
