Newest update... I picked up a trailer. It used to b an old 1940's something chevy truck bed. When I got it, was on 2 flats and was just a pile of rotted wood. Has been sitting for about 20 yrs. Scored some tires for free from a friend (almost bald, but they hold air better than the old ones). Got new wood on it and remounted the original spare from the 40's truck. Tire has never seen pavement and no weather cracks. Figured why not! Mounted a tool box on the front for a jack until I mount one on the tonge. It pulls straight. No wobble and can barely tell it's back there.
Future plans for it are to build a frame above the fenders and build an offroad camper out of it. I'll keep the floor under it for gear and maybe even some batteries if I decide to put some solar panels on it.But this will do for now for hauling camp gear around.
