Yeah try the plunger, and if its just popped in, I've done this one on my jetta. You get a can on compressed air(for a computer) spray the dent with the can upside down, basically freeze the metal, the go over it with a blow dry and it will pop right out. It causes the metal to all contract then rapidly expand

I might try that, but I think the reason it's stuck is because the metal on the backside is catching.. it's hard to explain. Where the fender naturally bends, there are edges on the back that aren't really connected together at all

Hmm mines a 99, but when I trimmed i removed the splash guard, and now I can see all the way into the wheel well from my drivers seat, thats why I suggested just using your hands. Take a pic from the drivers seat the door open.

IIRC I can't see anything inside the fender with my driver door open. Can't get the pic right now because the Jeep is 30 miles away from me. :P

So, I'm extremely happy today. Giddy.

I got to ****ing around with the kickdown cable adjuster and I coaxed it into working, lol. I THOUGHT I had it adjusted properly, but I was a little doubtful because the button was a little bit iffy. Here is how much it was adjusted before I started messing with it...

And after a bit of messing around with it, I got it to this:

Pretty big difference! It shifts like an absolute ****ing dream now. It's like a whole new vehicle. I drove to the gas station down the street for a test drive, then back to my dorm. Then I drove back to the gas station, because I couldn't believe how well it was shifting. This also somewhat fixed my shifting between Drive/Reverse/Park/Neutral. I say somewhat because there's still a lot to be desired...

Then I parked it.

I also got these in the mail (and then forgot to bring them with me back to school):

And I just got a shipping notice that my o2 sensors were delivered!

Today was a good day and I'm extremely happy with how the Jeep shifts now. Like butter.

It depends what kind of deals I come across and how empty my pockets are when I come across them.

We shall see.

I feel like I'm redefining the meaning of "slow build thread"
