Oh yeah, that t6 oil is amazing stuff.Originally Posted by PurpleToxin505

Used it in my old TJ, and it cured my rough idle, helped my RMS leak less, and increased fuel mileage from 13mpg to 15-16mpg. I don't know why it's so much better, but the I6 4.0 LOVES that stuff. Get it at Walmart and it's a bit cheaper than an auto parts store.
Really nice jeep OP. I love the 2 doors.

Sounds pretty damn good. I'm fairly sure the PO put an aftermarket cat on it. I'll post a video when I get back to my dorm in a few minutes. I'm in a hall meeting.Originally Posted by BlakeAnnexstad

There's the video, I'm really happy with the way it sounds.
I'll be doing it on my next XJ for sure.

Nice, I had a thrush welded muffler, but was way to loud, I did have it dumping straight out the muffler it was louder than no muffler hahaOriginally Posted by tssguy123

I need to re-do that video without the key-buzzer. Maybe when the weather isn't horrible and I get some junk fixed up.
Keeping this post for myself as a "to-do" list before I sell:
I'm hoping to get $2,500 out of this when it comes time to sell, but I'd settle at $2,000... meh.
- gear oil
- detail engine bay
- wash, clay bar, wax
- pull carpets and pressure wash
- motor mounts (brown dog rubber)
- trans mounts (??? I don't even know what brand is good... again, want to go with rubber. More concerned with not having vibrations.)
- up/downstream o2 sensors
- possibly replace cat? likely not.
- take it to a body shop and get a quote on fixing the driver fender

Hrm. Interesting, didn't know that. I'm actually re-thinking it and I'll probably go with OEM style mounts. I'd rather save the cash since I'll be selling when I can.Originally Posted by Basslicks
brown dog makes good transmission mounts too
If you can't tell, the specifics of what I plan to do change quite often. Lol.
