My Buddy Andy...who did almost all the work. I helped as much as possible, but he was the brains and made everything go as smooth as possible. Thanks Andy.

1. spring finally out...a lot of heat and beating it with a hammer.
2. die grinding the hole to fit the new spring.
3. we ended up breaking all the shock mount bolts in the body...Andy pulled out the welder and did a little shock bolt welding.

Finished!
Heres where we are RE 3.5 lift... Superlift shocks. Day one of the build is done.
Tally:
7 broken bollts...
5 welded back in place.
2 bolts stuck and cut out/re drilled...no injuries.
1 trip to 4 wheel parts (wrong U bolts) argh!
and 13-14 hours. wouldn't trade it for nothing...I learned a ton. Thanks again Andy.

OK, I have a question about backspacing and tire width. I got the bushwacker flat flares that should give me clearance on 32" tires. If I go with 11.50's what kind of back spacing to keep from rubbing and extend out a bit under the flares. Thanks in advance.
Here is a before and after.
