Through Trials and Tribulation
I guess i'll start my build off here.97 XJ which I have owned for around 3 years. Picked it up in vancouver for 2600 bucks bone stock and ended driving it up to the yukon for a job. I have owned 4 jeeps in the past (all xjs) but this is my favorite by far. Heres a couple pics from my phone. Not quite the way it looked like when i bought it, cut the fenders/bumper, added the bush bar and bedlined the rocker panels and put a flow-master super44 in it.
Specs:
Dana 30 front
8.25 rear
Np231
245k

First off was to change the color since i wasn't a fan of the blue, only took me a day and came out pretty good. Here's some of the prep and the finished product.

Got in a fender bender a while ago lady stopped in the middle of an intersection on a fresh green light for no reason at all. No way to stop, thought it would have done alot more to her car but did more damage to mine.

Next up was my lift install. I ordered the 4.5'' lift from ruff country(short arms). The install did not go smoothly tons of rusted bolts and bolt alignment issues.had to use tie down straps to get the leaf spring bolts to line up pain in the ***.

After the lift i decided it was time to get rid of the smashed up bumper. Designed my own then started to mock it up, cut and weld it came out super strong and looks good.

Also did the dual stock electric fans mod. Wired it in so it comes on when the stock electric kicks in. Works good for up here since the winters are so long.
