The LIFT stage of the build is done!
I cant get the tires installed till Monday. they will be 30x9.5s instead of the 27s up front now and the 28.5s out back now.
The lift drives great!!! its a rough country 3" series 2 and the only time you can tell the ride is a little more rough is when you go over the SMALL plastic speed bumps in parking lots and places. the plan was to get the performance 2.2 shocks but they are out of stock for a while and the place i ordered the lift from said that the 9000 nitro shocks ride just as good on the road..and thats what i was looking for the the 2.2s. so far so good with the lift though! i love the look and ride quality is much better than i expected! the track bar is good quality as well. the only problem is that one of the upper shackle bolts was super seized up and it couldnt be loosened so with the extra travel that is acquired by the taller leafs make is squeak then i go over a bump. Here are the pics.
I got a total of 3.85" taller in the back and 3.5 inches taller in the middle and front. so when it settles it will be right around the 3" mark or higher.
The only problem is a little vibration when accelerating HARD at 50-60. tcase drop will come Monday as well most likely!

it is now ALMOST as tall as my 07 Ram 1500.
BEFORE

and here are the tires going on monday morning

Hey that stuff seem to work great on the fenders. Nice paint job on the bumpers. Look forward to seeing the next mods!

yes i was absolutely amazed with the bumper paint! it just darkened them up quite a bit! didn't really put a coat of paint over them like normal plastic paint! it didn't even smell like spray paint. haha

I just got my StormTrooper, Its a 1997 Jeep Cherokee SPORT

I get to go pick it up next week. As you can see in the images it hit a mailbox and backed into something. The good thing is I have a brand new tail light and can replace the fender.

From the images theres no roof rack on it. Can a roof rack be added on it. It looks funny without the roofrack

@ Cherokee_Laredo: Nice jeep, but, please start another thread so that this build remains on topic with the OP's Jeep.

got the tires put on. here are some pics. sorry they are bad. ill get better ones later tonight.
they are 30x9.5x15 Kumho Road Venture ATs . i love them! amazingly quiet and ride great! off road they do quite well also but they tend to pick up little rocks and don't let go of them so i have to dig em out with a screw driver.

yeah im pretty impressed with them. comparing to the terra grapplers i had on my truck these seem to have a harder compound and perform better in the rain. and have deeper treads than any other AT out there. but they dont have the sidewall groves that others have. but for $97 a tire it was hard to find anything that beat them that performed well off road and better on road
