Awesome build, im def gonna have to steal your roof rack prints. The lights look really good on it. Did you buff out any swirls or roll the fenders? The paint job looks great, couldn't tell it was your first time. You sure you didn't just set up the booth and took it to get painted lol jk.

thanks man! nah i didn't buff or wet sand or anything. it could probably use another coat or 2 so i may get to that one day. i used almost a whole gallon on it but you can still see lines when it's in the sun. the fenders i just cut the front and cut and rolled the back. the build kinda came to an abrupt halt. we in the process of buying a house/land so that took priority. lol! kinda sucks!!! once that's all done i'm gonna focus back on setting aside money for lift/tires/rims.

Just read through your build thread... Looks good, and I am def. stealing your CB antenna mount idea... might steal the plans for the rack as well... but got to find someone to weld it up for me... that or someone that will let me borrow a welder, so I can start learning how to weld on something that won't leave my Jeep stranded on the road if it breaks... Can't wait to see as yours continues to progress... I just picked up a really gently used 4.5" spring lift, that I plan to run for a year or so until I can get the money for the SYE/CV shafts, and then get longer shackles and taller coils for the front and run roughly a 6.5" setup and will get long arms shortly after... so nothing wrong with starting a little bit lower than you originally wanted, and build up to it... unless you got or can get the money to drop on the setup you want at once.. I def. don't, so I worked out a trade for some items I had for the lift I got, now just got to get a few other items and some rims/tires to install the lift... (Hey don't feel bad about having to get a part time gig to make up the money... I'm military and I have to do the same, cause even our pay isn't really worth a crap...)

I hear ya! Being a cop all my pay goes to bills and I have to work security gigs to pay for extras. I had big plans for this build but I'm actually considering only going with a 4.5" RC with 33s to keep as my DD and get a 2 door later. I work in the hood and I've seen a 2 door at a crack house with the 4.0 HO that I'm sure I could get for cheap.

Hells yea... go for the 2dr. for cheap.. if nothing else keep it stock for a bit, until you are done with your mods for the DD 4dr.... I am thinking of doing my 4.5 and a few other mods on my current 4 dr., than after a little bit look for either a 2dr. or a Commanche to do some work on and build up for a trail only idea... All in time though... bout to start looking for a second job for some extras money... tired of having to bargain for everything, or putting off stuff cause don't have the money... put off the exhaust replacement (that needs to happen) cause of lack of funds, now I have to replace my O2 sensor as the rear hangar broke (didn't know it had) and pulled a wire... darn it...

Default Rear storage box

Well I just finished my rear storage box. All I have left to do is carpet it and screw it down to the floor then I'll be good to go! Check it out!!!
