I just got back from 6 months at RANGER School. Yes I got my Tab!
I little update on the Jeep. The bastard pack has settled and it looks like I've lost an inch to an inch and a half.
I am deploying in 2 weeks to Afghan so any more upgrades will have to wait.
When I get back I'm putting on a Rough Country 6.5" Long Arm Lift! and I scored a great 8000 lbs Warn winch so I need to buy a Winch Bumper also.
I plan to add a cold air intake, Performance headers and a complete Flowmaster exhaust system when I get back from this deployment.

I forgot to mention in the update that while I was at Ranger school, someone kicked in my front door and stole a lot of my stuff, one of the things that was taken was my only set of Jeep keys, OY!
So for now I just have to start it with a screw driver and I'll order another key and tumbler when I return from Afghan.

I forgot to post some stuff I did a while back.
Here is my Door Pins, I just pull out the bolt and go.

Here is the trunk area right now. I have a construction grade battery relocated to the rear, I mounted a Fire Extinguisher to the floor and I drilled mounting points in the floor to secure things in the rear compartment.

There's the CB, I have pics of my wife in the Jeep. lol

This is the Rear End

And here is a side shot of the Rear end to see what lift I have after the S10 Bastard pack has settled on me, There is still plenty of flex and bow in it.

These are pics of the Floor after I cut all the rust out and placed new metal down.

I did some off-roading with my wife today at Kaena Point on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
Here's some pics.
You can kinda see the water

Mountains in the background, also a sticker supporting CherokeeForum.com

The ocean view you see the whole time!

Some action shots!

Overall we had a blast! It was nice to get out and do some easy off-road fun real quick.

Well I'm about 9 days out from deploying to Afghanistan, I was hearing a loud pop noise coming from the rear passenger side drum drake when I press the break, figured some air got into my system, so I tried to bleed it, the bleeder valve got snapped off inside, guess it was rusted in there, then I took the whole wheel cylinder off to find out why the air was there in the first place, the cups had a hole in both... so for now the Jeep is parked in the garage and I'm driving the Mazda6 around for the next few days, I'll worry about it when I get back from Afghan.
This is the Disc brake conversion I'll be ordering from summit to replace em'

Just installed a nice Push Start Button and Race Style toggle switch.

I also did a write up on it and submitted it to this site, so if they except it, I'll post the link here.

LOL, So I just got back from Afghanistan, I've had a lot of PM's about there being another Green and Black wire under the dash for my push button mod I wrote up. So just be aware that instead or starting your jeep you could be flashing on and off all electronics, lights outside, interior, 4 ways and all lol, lesson learned I hope they use their multimeter.
Anyways, I got a giggle out of it, I need to post some new pics, I've been back for 2 weeks, just got back on the site, so far I've added some more gauges and rhino lined the interior.
On Tuesday I will be ordering a 7.5" Long Arm lift from Rubicon Express, along with a Winch Bumper, SYE, CV drive shafts front and back (My front one rattles) and a few other goodies, I plan on dropping about $4,000 into it that day.
I'll keep ya posted. Thanks

I just joined the forum, but welcome back! Awesome build you got going so far.
It's nice to see another 11 series on the forum.
Hope you spend that untaxed deployment money wisely

I just ordered my Rubicon Express 5.5" Long Arm lift, SYE, CV axle and a nice Winch bumper by Smittybilt.
Grand total of $3,800 and it will be here on the island in a few weeks!
