Default Soldiers Project Jeep

I'm an Infantrymen in the U.S. Army, Ranger, Sniper. I love working on my Jeep when I'm home.

I got this Jeep for $600, 1994 2 Door, 2 wheel drive with 215,000 miles on it.

After having it a week I got it stuck parking at the beach lol, Embarrassing, My wife, newborn (about 2 months old) and I waited for about 10 min and a Hummer came and pulled me out. The very next day I went out and found a parts Jeep, a 4x4 with only 100,000 miles. $100

Now I have converted my Jeep to a 4x4 and it is working out great so far, It was pretty much bolt on everything and took a few days with only me doing it. I rebuilt the engine that had 100,000 on it, put in the AX-15 Trans, NP231 Transfer Case, front end and rear end.
That's pretty much my Cherokee story.

Rubicon Express 8" EXTREME-DUTY LONG ARM
Rubicon Express Gen2 Quick Disconnects
Rebuilt engine
35" Nitto
Gauges
Bed lined the interior
Roof Rack
XRC Front winch bumper
Smittybilt XRC8 Winch

Currently working on an LT-1 Corvette engine to put in my Cherokee, I've got about $6,000 into the engine, trans, all the performance parts, sensors for the jeep, all I need right now is the engine mounts and transfer case adapter.

There we go, the first pic, I'll take some more after I clean it up, it's still a wreck from the conversion and me making a center console for it, neither one from the Jeeps would fit the new set up.

I had to cut the one from the 4x4 parts jeep a lot but I got it some what in there right now, I'll work with it and post some pics

I got this Jeep about 2 weeks ago for $600, Getting the out dated registration taken care of was about $200

Oh boy....don't let the Hummer owners see this, LOL. On a more serious note, glad you converted to 4x4. Now, if you see a hummer that's stuck, don't laugh at him and go pull him out

My 4x4 conversion finishing touch!

My thrown together center console.
I had to cut the one from the parts Cherokee, it was too long in the front and the rear end had cup holders and an arm rest/cubby hole but because the E-brake in this jeep is in the center and the one from the parts jeep was more to the left, it had to go...

Benning was awesome dude, Basic will be the hardest thing you will ever do in your life, they take you from a regular civilian and change you into a soldier and once a soldier, always a soldier, It's a life changing thing, just remember what you are doing is for a reason even if you don't know why, just do it and don't ask questions.

And yea, I just put on the stock roof rack from the Sport parts jeep and re did the head liner today, I'll take pics tomorrow.

When I get the money I'm going to lift it as much as I can and put 33's on it, get a nice roof rack for it and get a bumper hitch, I want a good front bumper too with a hitch. I am going to move the speaker rail on the top closer to the front... I have a lot of plans for this Cherokee, right now I'm working on removing another engine with only 100,000 miles on it to put in mine.
