Got parts in today! Got my exhaust and bed liner in. So I have two coats on the top side of the roof rack so far and the roof almost finished with the prep work! Here are some pics. Hoping to have the roof and the roof rack finished by tomorrow along with the exhaust. That leaves my shock re-locators that are left in transit.

your jeep is looking good man and coming along really nice! You gonna head on down to Richlands on Friday? we can get everything welded up for you. I still gotta pick up some flux wire, I was in Harbor Freight today but for the life of me couldn't remember what size I needed, turned out I was right but I didn't go through with the purchase

Yeah lets plan on Friday man.

Well the rest of the work was interesting. I got a third coat on the rack and 2 coats on the roof. I plan on one more coat on the roof in the morin.
Went to tare out the old exhaust and ended up ruining the clamps so in the I have to get two more clamps tomorrow to finish it. Will update tomorrow.

Well I got the cat from a buddy who has a shop. I ordered a thrush glass pack with a dynamax pipe from summit racing to finish it off though. I had a gift card and I qualified for free shipping so I ended up getting everything to my door for just under $60. I didn't think that was too bad.

Man this heat has got to go!!! I am burning up working on this thing. Had a heat index of 107 today. Got some door trim put around my cut fenders and it cleaned it up a lot. Also got the exhaust on and she sounds a lot better and seems to have noticeably more torque. Roof rack with my new lights mounted is ready to go up on the roof as well! Can't wait to see it all up top again. Will take pictures tonight!
Also heading out to XJ Nicks place tomorrow to weld my cut rear fenders and some support rods I fabbed into the front fender so it isn't so wobbly.

I feel bad for you. I hate working in extreme heat. It really makes things difficult.

I will probably end up replacing the entire exhaust. Head back.

I plan on replacing the rest of it sometime whenever funds build back up. I have higher priorities to make it more trail worthy before I spend more on the exhaust though.

Got two buddies headed over right now to put the roof rack on! I am stoked. Got the lights mounted and can't wait to see it mounted up.
