Doesn't look like the liner is going to get here before I get cut up. So Who knows how long it will be before I am able to finish the roof and rack.
Oh well... Hope to get in my lights soon too.
Upcoming plans are:
1. New exhaust
2. cut fenders
3. Quick Disconnects
4. JCR Rear bumper
5. Front Bumper with winch
6. 1" Shackles and coil spacers
All suggestions are appreciated too!

Well surgery went better than thought it was going to. They ended up not having to cut my leg bone in half so my recovery time should be cut in half!

you got a great jeep to start off with! I actually like the color scheme of this stock.
You got some of the things done I'm doing next, fix my no exhaust, fix rust and bedline and get a roof rack to hold all my crap camping!
Always great news when any surgery is better than expected, hope to see more updates!

I am planning on changing all the fluids hitting all the grease points and what not when I feel up to it. I am also in line for some 703 injectors so between them and the new exhaust she aughta get some pep back pretty quick.

Ok so here is something I need some advice on. I am trying to keep this build under a 4.5" lift because I plan on using it to pull a small trailer we use to haul our camping gear on trips with the whole family. I would like to maximize my off-road capabilities of course. So here are some Ideas I have been throwing around.
I plan on trimming the fenders soon no matter what to fit 33s eventually. As well as hunting down some D 44s.
I have been thinking about adding some of the detours usa shock re-loacators and adding 1" shackles in the back and then adding 1" coil spring spacer in the front. Technically this with put me over 4" of lift but the way I see it is that with the bumpers. winch, roof rack, tools ect. I will still be riding with roughly 3" of lift so I should have to worry about my driveline angles and what not.
Am I crazy or could this work?

I am in the IRR. I shoot for the Marine Reserve rifle team. I am at Camp Perry for the next two weeks shooting at the national matches. Pretty good duty if I may say so. Did my time in the dirt back in 03, 04, thru 05 with the jarheads out on the west coast. Got 15 years in this month, looking for another 15 before I drop pack. Happy to hear saw bones didn't cut you to bad. Look forward to seeing your rig in the build thread. Starting one my self in about a month. I need to start with an engine rebuild. I will dyno before and after and let you know the mods that put the most torque to the wheels. Cuz that's what it's about. Kill

Well since I'm still in the process of waiting for my exhaust and bed liner to get here I decided I felt good enough to start trimming the fenders. I also have pictures of a few other things I have done as well.
Oh I got my lights over the weekend too! So I will have a lot to do soon.
My oldest Son Easton was a big help today as you will see.
