So. Not a good day.

Started good.
Got it inspected, and got the new tires/wheels on.
Looks great

Annoying
Climbed up a mound of dirt that was dug out to make a second driveway... climbed it up well, but ripped off my bumper caps.
Oh well some JB weld will fix it.

The bad
Ended up stuck on the side of the road, after my alternator died.
Walked 10 miles. In the cold dark.

Tomorrow Im going to try and get it back to the house.

Love the snow.

I like the stance, but it causes me to rub on the bumper caps and fenders... so while its stable, it gets annoying.

So time to spice up the boring... and add LOTS OF PHOTOS!

I got a new set of wipers and installed them.

Old and Busted

New Hotness.

I like how they look.

My front is all wrapped up...

But actually I still havent dealt with the trackbar bolt.

It must be winter because I see no leaves... [/lame jokes]

Oh wait I guess it is only fall.... cause there are still some leaves.

Here is the progress Ive made on the leaf bolt.

And some other goodies I have picked up.

Bolts to replace the eventual broken shock bolts.

Trackbar bushing and sleeve

Swaybar bushings..

And an oil filter... Going to try this. Ive always used Fram Tough Guard.. had no problems. I expect the same with this brand.

Basically I havent done a whole lot. I have got to pick up some new shackles before I go forward back to my track bar.

Does anyone know where to get a trackbar bolt replacement? Besides a dealer...
All i wanted was some God d***** mangoes Maaan

I have become fed up with the stock stereo's problems... cant play cds, randomly sound quits, etc.

So I will be installing this sometime today

Not the best stereo ever, but it will work better than what I have now.
Got it several years ago as a christmas present, installed it on a toyota truck p.o.s, and took it out when I sold it. Its been sitting around since then.
Unfortunately Im missing a bunch of stuff that came with it, including the installation sleeve. So Im just jerry rigging it for now.

If anyone else is planning on installing a stereo, and isnt learned in it, here is a useful guide I found.

http://www.installdr.com/installdocs...PDF/533001.pdf

Also while I have things apart Im going to try this
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/fo...repair-109808/
Throw in some new-ish fog lights, and If Im feeling very productive install my bumper caps.

And for about a year thats all I did.
first would like to say im jealous that you only had one upper shock bolt snap.. all four of mine did, and 4 bits, and a tap handle ..

secondly .. the passenger window only obeying the drivers controls.. might be the window lock button .. i have a 4door and none of the window work unless i roll em down .. but once in a blue moon if i mash the window lock .. the passengers have to roll there own windows down .

third. looks nice

I had the same problem with my windows not working except for my drivers door console. I used this trick and all my windows started working again.
