Ok...
In July of 2010 I bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 2-Door.

It had some minor problems. The passenger window didnt work, the drivers side lock didnt work, the temperature control didnt work, also the a/c, and it wasnt inspected.

I drove it home and eventually fixed or partially fixed most of its problems. My A/C still isnt operable, and my passenger window will only obey the drivers side switch sometimes. But overall it was and is pretty nice.

So far Ive had no mechanichal problems.
Until recently Ive only done routine maitenance...
I replaced the spark plugs...

The Air Filter....

And the oil and oil filter
[Insert unecessary oil filter photo here]

And for about a year thats all I did.

And then this summer I replaced the drums.
Eventually I pulled the bumper caps and fixed some rust.

I was given a Multi fit Reese fitch and installed .
I guess I didnt take any pictures....

All this time I had made rounds on this forum, and eventually decided I wanted a 3 inch lift kit.
And so I lurked craigslist almost every day. I finally found what I wanted.
I bought a 3 inch BDS Full leaf lift kit

And about a month ago I began my install.

But my Jeep wants to fight me. And it is... Beginning with step one of the BDS instructions...
Remove the tracbar bolt.

About an hour and a half I attempted to remove this everday, for about a week. And I tried everything heat, pb, crowbar, and yanking on it.
So I cut it out....

I WAS VICTORIOUS....
My good attitude lasted about five minutes. Then I realized I had only completed step one.

I then began on the front end.
I got my front leaking shocks and coils out.

And with the help of this

Got my new ones in.

Replaced the lower shock bolts with some grade 8 hardware...

Sorry for some crappy pics.

At this point I got tired of working in the gravel driveway and reinstalled the wheels, and moved it into my garage.

Its an auto... And Ill go snap some photos of the interior.
I love the lund visor. Only problem with it is you have to watch where you stop at stoplights.

And mine isnt nearly as clean sa yours looks.

I got one leaf out... "trumpet sounds". It was glorious.

After that I broke one of my upper shock bolts. Decided that the shocks were in the way so I cut them out at the shaft.

This is wrong. Ive forgotten.
Within the first week of my purchase, I stayed at a friends house, and a local *** hole dumped oily **** into my tank, and destroyed my fuel pump. I was not happy. But atleast it didnt make it to my engine.
About $300 and a tank of gas it was running again.

And Ive had the steering box replaced... my steering was very sloppy. That was recently. I wont quote the price on that because it still hurts.

So I havent had much time to do anything...
So time to spice up the boring... and add LOTS OF PHOTOS!

I got a new set of wipers and installed them.

Old and Busted

New Hotness.

I like how they look.

My front is all wrapped up...

But actually I still havent dealt with the trackbar bolt.

It must be winter because I see no leaves... [/lame jokes]

Oh wait I guess it is only fall.... cause there are still some leaves.

Here is the progress Ive made on the leaf bolt.

And some other goodies I have picked up.

Bolts to replace the eventual broken shock bolts.

Trackbar bushing and sleeve

Swaybar bushings..

And an oil filter... Going to try this. Ive always used Fram Tough Guard.. had no problems. I expect the same with this brand.

Basically I havent done a whole lot. I have got to pick up some new shackles before I go forward back to my track bar.

Does anyone know where to get a trackbar bolt replacement? Besides a dealer...

You can just use a nut and wrench in there, and if the holes are wallowed out than dw is likely
