Default "Scene 2" daily driver weekend warrior.

To start things off, I have an 01 Cherokee limited. With 180k on the clock. I bought it about a 2 yes ago and ended up selling it to my dad shortly after. I bought a 97 4cyl wrangler and my dad ended up talking me out of the wrangler so now I am back in the cherokee lol.(hence "scene 2")

Anyways it's time to "build" this thing. The jeep needs a new intake gasket, valve cover gasket and new exhaust manifold along with new rear leafs because they have a negative arch. No body likes a negative arch.

I just pulled the trigger on a Rough country 3" series II lift with new leaf packs and lower control arms, steering stabilizer and a rugged ridge header.

I plan on painting the lower control arms, coil springs, shocks and other steering components I just haven't decided what color. Possibly metallic purple blue or orange but we will see.

I plan on keeping the 18" challenger take off wheels and running 32" all terrain tires after some trimming.

Here are some before pics and the parts I purchased. Hopefully they will be in next week sometime.

I think you won the trade lol. I'm deciding between rough country and rusty's 3 inch lift myself right now. Take pics as you go.

Will do man. I bought a 00 Cherokee with a 3" rustys lift back in 2009 and had nothing but problems with it. Popping noises, couldn't get it aligned. I've heard good things about rough country so hopefully this one will turnout better.

The lift came in kuddos to fast shipping. I'm really impressed with how heavy duty the LCAs are.

I'm still waiting on the header to arrive. I'd like to install it first and paint my suspension in the mean time.

Looked through the kit today and found out rough country sent u bolts for the Dana 35 and the Chrysler 8.25. One less thing to worry about when it comes to swapping in a 8.25.

"Paint booth" is up!lol

Painted most of the parts. I decided to go with a bronze color (I know it doesn't sound like the best idea but I have a vision! Lol) I'll probably end up painting the shocks black.

I woke up this morning to some more goodies on the front porch. The header, shock boots, and steering stabilizer came in. My parents just left for Mexico yesterday so I'll bring going over to their house probably tomorrow to grab my dads TJ and drive it this week while I tear into my jeep. Great timing if you ask me lol.

Love the color scheme you have going here, mine is the opposite, with black on bronze!

Thanks! I was skeptical at first but I'm starting to like it. If all else fails it all looks the same covered in mud!
