Although real life has kicked me in the nuts lately, not all is lost...been working OT, a lot, and have made some headway...so much so, that I ordered my Bilsteins today! No work this weekend, at least not as of now, so I want to get as much done as possible up until my shocks come in...after that, mad scramble to get it done. I took the labor day weekend, and put in for time off, and the last time I did that, I got screwed. I told my boss, if it happens again, I'll probably walk. He assured me it would not happen again. We'll see, LOL...

Anyways, I'll have a 5 day "weekend", get paid for 3 days, and my goal is to have it done by then, and go enjoy it!

I also realize, that's a lot to happen in 2 weeks time, and I want some road time under my belt, so I can re-torque all hardware, top off grease fittings, and do a general inspection before she goes off road. If it doesn't happen, cool. But, if it doesn't, I have 5 days to MAKE it happen, LOL

5100's...for now. I need to get it back on the road ASAP. I will save for the 7100's, however, then sell the 5100's on CL.

Also, just checked my tracking # this morning. On the truck for delivery. Ordered late Wednesday evening. Super fast, LOL....I'm in "shock", haha!

LOL, did you measure before ordering or just ordered the lengths that should be correct?

I got the ones that should be correct. I'll measure later when ready to drop the serious coin.

Right?

Say what you will about Frank and Serious Offroad...but his service is great, shipping has always been fast, and any problems I've ever had (only one or two) were dealt with quickly and effectively. Not trying to open a can of worms, as I know what went down. He was clearly in the wrong with things here on the site. Small potatoes to me, all my dealings with him have been great.

Moving on. Need to basically just start putting it back together, tomorrow I'm going to finish the brakes, just need to bleed the rears, add the SS lines up front and bleed those, tighten all the suspension stuff out back, add shocks, install gas tank/skid/bumper, paint and put new u-joints on the rear driveshaft, and the back is done.

Also need to re-install the sliders, not sure how that's gonna go yet. They were only bolted in with nutserts on the framerails and rockers, but after adding the stiffeners, that's all changed...may need to do some trimming and such to get them to work, but the gist of it is, where they meet the stiffeners will now be welded, and the rockers will stay bolted. That covers the mid section.

Then I just need to adjust the 3 link, get everything lined up out front, like steering, alignment and so on, add shocks, tighten down, then add diff oil front and rear, do a double and triple take, slap on the bumper/winch up front, and go!

Right now I'm just going to concentrate on everything necessary to streetability. All the armor and such will be bottom on the list until AFTER the mechanicals are in order...no shortage of work...just hope it all goes well.

A couple more weekends, and hoping to be back online!
