This is a simple roll bar with one hoop and 2 back diagonal braces
I made this first out of 3/4 conduit to get the lengths and bends correct
The hoop lands right over the forward leaf spring attachment point and right next to my mid frame stiffeners
The back diagonals land above the rear "frame"
I welded a tab to bolt the hoop to the upper seat belt mount
Back diagonals were tacked in place then the hoop was dropped thru holes in the floor to weld all the way around
Made from 1 3/4 .120 wall DOM tubing bent with a JD2 bender
This took 20 feet of tubing, 11 for the main hoop and 4 each for the back diagonals
Attachment plates are all 3/16
And yes, the rear seat will never fit back in
All pics are passenger side
Standard disclaimer: I'm not a welder and all the roll bar rules say you can't grind anything
Hoop touches headliner
Tab welded on to bolt thru seat belt mount
Vertical plate welded to bottom plate before installation
