rlippy001's Daily Driver Progression
Hi guys. Im Ryan. I made this thread a few years back when I bought my first cherokee. It was a start. 235,000 when I got it as a daily. Then I did a 3 inch lift and 31inch tires. But being the cheap *** I am with my daily vehicles I got blocks and home made coil spacers. The jeep had bad drive line vibration and the brake hoses limited the flex. I was new the 4x4 thing but it was fun. I added overhead console and othee goodies from local scrap yards. Later to sell the jeep because I wanted something nicer. I bought a silverado, did some mods and sold it because the offer was right. Now to my current cherokee. I missed my old one so much I thought I'd purchase another.
1999 Cherokee Limited, heated seats, leather, overhead console, towing package, privacy glass, amplified stereo. All the goodies the 90s had to offer. Plans were to keep it stock but that didnt last long. Sooooooooooo still being cheap this is where I'm at.
Front-
ZJ Coils
2.5in Spacers
YJ Brake Hoses
Stock Shocks
Shock Extenders
Home Brew BPE
F350 Rear Sway Bar Links
Rear-
S10 Rear Leafs
S10 Rear Shocks
Explorer Endlinks
YJ Brake Hose
Lastly I'll be making my own T-Case drop as well. I should be in the 3-4 inch lift range. I bought every part brand new except the rear leafs. Currently at a total of $229.36 for the lift. Pretty good if you ask me, sourced everything from my work using discounts and a few parts from rock auto. Trying to do a legit lift without spending legit money. As a daily it should do.
