so with the AX-15 and 4:10 gears it seemed a bit low geared . So I am going from 31" tires to 33" about like everyone else LOL it never ends . My XJ is at 3" lift and I like the LCG idea, so its time to cut the fenders ,
I orderd some Napier Precision Products flat fender flares FF4-B 97-01 384.95 and a 50.00 off bleeping jeep discount code 334.95
And started to cut , not fun cutting up the jeep, hope this is a good idea LOL to late now . one down 3 to go , not to bad even got the washer bottle back in their and working .

I have a old 1976 sears road talker brand new still in the box , 40 chanel CB am, and 80 chanel SSB side ban , this is a great radio . I mounted a 102 inch stainless wip and a shorter one with a NLA 40 load coil .

And I added a 20" light bar in the front just to help . and mounted the switch in the dash , their is not much room for mounting switches in an XJ . I Tried to keep it low so it would not block the air to the radiator

I have been worried about getting the jeep stolen, so I made up a kill switch so it wont start . I dident want it to be easy to find, so a made it wireless . added a bosh 5 pin relay with the key off it will draw no power . you have to have the remote to start it .

Love this build. I like to see some pictures of the whole Jeep, now that you have the new flares, wheels, and tires.

Took the under hood light apart , sanded all the contacts . the stock bulb was broken seems to be a common problem . looked around and found some LEDs on ebay . The way they fit, they ether face left or right, so I tried to put two in their one right one left seemed to work well .Sorry my camera doesn't take pictures in the dark well . And they were dirt cheep .10Pcs White LEDs Bulbs 561 562 . 6.19 with free shipping

Should solder a 3rd led to the two on there so it's facing out too. You have 10 of them so why not give it a shot.

I pulled all dome lights and replaced them with LED's , wow what a difference's I think it is money well spent .
When I pulled the dome light, I found it had a circuit board in their , did some research and found it was for the remote door locks . I really like to have remote door locks , I find them to be very handy . If it was not prewired for it, I probably would not have spent the time to install them . I found a good used board with 3 remotes on ebay 126.00 with shipping , plugged it in and they work !! WOO HOO !!
