Minor update. Last night I received my first clear transmission since installing the CB speaker. I mounted it on the B-pillar a few inches behind my head to keep it as loud as possible with the doors off. I wasn't sure about the volume til last night when I drove past a mobile reverend broadcasting a sermon. I damn near jumped in the passenger seat when he broke static, and I turned the radio down quick
Based on that experience, I'm pretty satisfied for the $12 (free shipping with Prime) that I paid for the speaker.

Thanks for that though - I have the need for a speaker for sure - may have to grab the same one if you like it

I want to clarify, this speaker is not high quality. It's fairly small, cheaply made, and cheaply priced. It does put out enough sound that I'll just order another if it breaks or gets filled with mud.
It's $15.99 now, and I updated the link in the original post. Keep in mind you have to be logged in to a Prime account to see the free shipping.

I am a vendor on Amazon and that is NOT that uncommon....the ads are ridiculous. One vendor creates the listing, then others can sell on it. Whoever has the lowest price "controls" the listing and can make any changes they want....correct or not. BUT I get free PRIME due to sales volume and the 21,000 listings, so thats nice

Well we hit 60°F today, and I felt it was perfect weather to work on the truck since I didn't wake up tip 12:15
I started by cleaning out the interior. No big deal, but needed to be done. Got my 97+ mirrors installed, as they are a direct bolt-on, offer a larger mirror surface, fold in, and aren't scratched and muddy...yet. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of that. I also removed my evap canister since all the lines were rotted through, and I removed more A/C components to free up some space.
