Well here is my hood vent install. Followed a write up I found here a while back.

Edge trim, grill pieces, and Rtv silicone from autozone and lowes.

Taping up the area with painters tape.

Taking my measurements...

Prepping to cut with my angle grinder and raising the hood a bit on wooden blocks so I don't knick any wires in the engine bay...

Started and finishing up my cuts...

Started to put on the edge trim pieces...

Priming and painting the grill pieces...

Add a ton of silicone!!!!

Press it up against the hood then reinforce with gorilla tape until the silicon dries. Once dry you can remove the tape or leave it there if you lazy...

Finished project

Took the jeep out to potato ridge on a night run with the local jeep club. Had a blast and the HID's were able to illuminate everything in front of me. However still going to order some led rock lights, light bar, pods, etc once I get enough money. I did end up blowing a shock tower bushing and my junk yard durango box steering has some play on it so I think it may need replaced with a remanufactured one from some auto parts store. Here is the the go pro test of the excursion.

Well here is another short video of bitter springs. Girlfriend bought me a go pro for our anniversary so I'm still trying to get the hang of this thing. I love it though!

Took her for a spin with the local jeep club. Catch Regina in the back with the gas can mounted up top.

Well my ebay led light bar came in so decided to hook it up.
Mounted it up onto the light bar mount.

Picked up some supplies from harbor freight down the street and a cheap wiring harness with relay and switch from ebay for 10 bucks

Screwed in the relay to a bolt hole near the battery

I ziptied the wiring harness a long the stock harness towards the back of the firewall.

Obviously the wiring harness was too short so I had to extend the wires using crimps. I prefer soldering but I was impatient and couldn't find my iron since I just moved to a new house and misplaced it in one of my many boxes...

Fed the wires through the geometry in the firewall into the cabin. Then wires up the switch and found a spot to mount it using a 1/2 inch drill.

Extended the wires on the light bar and fed it into the cabin by tucking it into the weather stripping on the door

OCD kicked in so I decided to loom every exposed wire. Then wired the power directly to the battery and turned it on!!!

Overall driving at night is more enjoyable. I may take it Regina on a night run to test out the light.

Started doing the fluids for my differentials while I put on my solid covers.

Picture of the front

Picture of the rear

I love em! Other than being functional I think they make the axles look sick.

Took Regina on a shakedown run to test out my rear bumpstops and solid differential covers. Friend took a little video of an easy part of the wash at red rock canyon.
My differential covers ended up taking a beating on the larger portions of the wash but held up very well. Solid rings true to their name I guess.
EDIT: can't seem to figure out how to post a video on here. When I try to embed it, it just posts a bunch of mumbo jumbo

Well I got stuck the other day by the lake. Ended up getting winched out by some wrangler. Soooooooo went home ordered me a damn winch. Heard some good thing about smittybilt and their x20 series so hope the 10000lb version will hold up.

No real updates other than putting on the winch. Haven't really driven her much other than up to some trails where I park her so I can hump it up and do some rappelling or hiking.
My gun addiction has bit me again and I'm getting back into shooting. I'm also starting an ar-pistol build so that has taken the bulk of my time and money.
