I don't even use it anymore to be honest. It rattles and wobbles like crazy so I just took it off. I had it ratchet strapped to my roof crossbar for a while but I got tired of doing that every time I wanted in or out of the back hatch. I'll probably use it when I hit the trails this summer, but not for every day use.
I wish I'd just spent the money on a full back bumper instead.

Well i bought the RE 3/4 coil spacer to hopefully lift my front end more to make it more level. Cant deicde what i want to do next. Thinking all new ball joints and the zj tie rod upgrade and new LCAS or get all new bilstein 5100 shocks. Anyone have any suggestions on shocks? OME OR bilstein? I have the rustys shocks now but not so sure if i like them.

The ZJ tie rod upgrade is a great, cheap, and easy upgrade to do. I've got one on mine, and I'd definitely recommend it. I think you'll like the way your Jeep sits after you put on that .75 inch spacer too. I've been debating between OME and Bilstein shocks as well, and I think I've decided on Bilsteins, because they are a little less expensive, they are a true monotube shock, and the reviews are consistently good, not that OME doesn't get good reviews, it's just that the Bilstein's seem to be a better value.

Everyone i know runs the bilsteins and seem like a good or great shock. i had the part numbers found at one time but lost them and cant remember where i seen them. I have a pretty bad exhuast leak so ill be maybe getting another one. Im thinking im going to do the zj tie-rod upgrade, the RE SUPERIDE LCAS, and that .75 coil spacer. Anyone have any idea why im rubbing the rear lower part of my fender well only when im backing up and have the wheel cut hard

I've heard the only thing that really improves ride quality is the long arm lift. Basically, if you're going to spend $400, might as well spend a little more and go long arm. I can't speak from personal experience, but everyone I know who has a LA lift swears by them. If mine wasn't also used as a DD, I'd have tried it out a while ago.

well my exhuast header finally cracked and now sounds like crap. So i ordered up the rugged ridge painted black exhaust header. Hopefully its not trash and will last a little bit. I figure anything has got to be better then the stock cracked one right?

Got my header and exhaust put on.. Now no more annoying noise. Also got my new RE super ride LCAs in. Got them for $125 but they didnt come with any instructions and im not quite sure which way they go in. Meaning the off centered side go to the frame or axle? Also how hard is it to change your lower control arms? When i do that i might also put in my coil spacers. Been looking at bumpers a lot lately and cant quite decide which to go with. Got it narrowed down to the smittybilt xrc and one from jcr. Any opinions or info would help!

Got my RE coil spacers and RE super ride fixed control arms. Hoping to get the zj tie rod upgrade here in the next few days and put them all on at once. Hoping the new control arms stop the popping noise ive been hearing going over bumps and that it helps from the wheel rubbing on the back of the fender well on the body side.

I fianlly was able to order me a hitch for the rear. Got a curt class 3 from etrailer.com. picked it up for 150. Autozone wanted 279 for the same hitch. Still havent got the coil spacers or control arms on yet hoping to soon though.

well finally got around to getting a trailer hitch on the ole jeep. And i must say idk if its me or actually the hitch but it seems that it has tightened the jeep up and it doesnt feel so sloppy or loose. Anyone else have this same thought. I went with the curt 2in receiver. 159 shipped to my door from etrailer.com installation was pretty straight forward and should have been easy for the most part but with all the rust on it. It took a little time but i got it done with help from my dad. Didnt get any pictures of the actual install but got some after shots.
