Check out the last page in my build thread, it goes over some of the things ive touched on from welding the seams and building a new mount to get more length and maintain proper angle

Tried to send you a pm but

I actually had no idea about rock n valley off road park i haven't gone to any parks at all or taken it off road as the most ive done was go to Drummond with a friend a few years back in his jeep. This thing was supposed to be ready to rock when I bought it with minor fixes but turned out to be a horrible financial decision 😆 hope to have a new windshield in it on friday so after that id be down to go. Whats needed? Camping nearby?

Another update, been a while but ive been busy. Got the bar pin kit for front and rear coming. New led turn signals, new connectors since brittle and broken, one new pigtail repair since.....brittle and broken. Again didnt take pics but if I remember ill take some and upload them if anyone is curious but I like them.

Wife rebuilt the headlights (buckets, adjustment screws, springs etc) they were rusty and wouldnt turn so everything got replaced. Again no pics but its not fancy fun upgrades more maintenance so didnt see a reason to take any.

Going to drop it off next week to get the leaf springs bushings swapped out for some poly bushings from bds and have them redone to match the 6.5 inch front. Getting the rear main redone since i didnt do it good enough i guess 😆 least i tried 3 times. Im tired of doing it and it is leaking again so going with a local indy shop, owner is amazing and if it leaks again he will take care of it without issue.

I think that pretty much covers it so far, going to replace all the rod ends on the steering tonight then get an alignment redone.

My super technical way of holding the axle to replace the uca with an IRO flex joint. Those guys have been super nice and helpful....cant say the same for other companies that said

Those guys have been super nice and helpful....cant say the same for other companies that said "should fit" then it didnt so i wasted money. IRO said yup and sure enough it fit perfect. Took a lot of time smashing the old one out but eventually got it to move enough to where i could get it pressed out with the ball joint press.
New heater hose, OE style since the last one was a straight hose that rubbed the hood. Its not the most organizef looking engine bay but meh works for now.

New windshield got put on but it was leaking heavily soooooo had to take some pics as evidence so 🤷 now its redone and doesnt leak but not a fan of having to take off dash panels.

Psc power steering kit that im gonna put on with the wife tonight. Prepping for a long trip in the george washington national forest, dispersed camping and constant driving to hit every trail. So far i have roughly 2000 miles between getting there, riding trails etc then going back home.

[img alt="And of course couldnt forget a psc steering gearbox to go with it. Slowly making this thing a monster

Put in new springs 6.5 inch lift (didnt take pics) instead of the 8 so its a bit nicer on the street (i hope?) Everything i saw was 8 inch was way too much and 6.5 will drive better blah blah blah. We shall see but with how much driving we will do anything that helps ill take it.
