Hey guys im new new to the xj world my father had a 4 dr for work ( law inforcement) but not new to the jeep world born and raise into and through a jeep family. My father owning a cj5 and it ended up at the bottom of the Rockies wheels up. back over on its wheels and drove it home sadly it got sold. My mother had a CJ7 she said it was the greatest jeep shes owned. Myself i have the blackhawk a 97 TJ Sport. I've wheeled with many XJ's and know their capability weaknesses but i have much to learn since i just got my hands on a 95 XJ 2dr sport. It's different from seeing someone's XJ to owning your own.

it was towed last winter (2011) due to the water pump seizing and throwing the belt. sadly on its last day the tow truck driver did not properly secure the XJ and it got lose and fell off the flat bet and ate a guard rail with the key in the on position. Thus causing the airbag to go off. The insurance company totaled the XJ because both driver side control arms crunched and folded and there was a kink in the from frame horn in the driver wheel well ( wasnt bad) when I pulled the bumper and found some more damage but still not bad enough to total it.

so now in my possession for 400$ i have one of my dreams become a reality and now i cant wait to play with it.

quick up date i got the jeep September 15th 2012. from then to now. i have replaced the snapped and crumbled driver control arms, new drag link and tierod, swapped out the rims and tires, new water pump , thermostat and seals for both, new belt and new used radiator. I have the whole rear hatch full of new and used parts for my XJ let alone a 94 4dr for parts.

Finished changing the window regulator ! I got a flat though I. Got my 4" lift
