So about a month ago I picked up a 1996 XJ 4D. It's got the straight six with an AX-15 5spd. So far all I have done is mostly upkeep. I had to immidatly change the oil, diff fluids on both axles, and replace the tranny fluid. All of them were way past due. Tomorrow I will be replacing the leaky valve cover gasket that apparently everyone has problems with. Future plans are still mostly in the air but i have a few things narrowed down. I plan to do an IRO 6.5" LA kit, lockers in the 8.25 and dana 30, also change gearing to 4.10 when i get the 33" tires i plan on getting.

I also just replaced all 4 5.25" stock speakers with 6.5" Kickers. Sounds amazing! Now I need a newer head unit. lol
