Ok so this project started with my totaled, stock mj. In a mission to out do my friends I decided that a full width build was necessary. First I stripped off the bed and pulled out the dana 35. I picked up a dana 60 out of a 70's f250 and put new spring perches on it.

I have the stock brake line hooked up for now, I will deal with all of my lines at the same time, same with shocks.
now on to the front end. I picked up a hp 44 from a 70's ford. it has chevy flat top knuckles and 1 ton outers with warn 7/8 turn hubs. I am using the factory ford radius arms for now. here are the brackets that I made for the radius arms to bolt to.

For my tierod I used 1 1/2 .250 wall dom and 3/4" qa1 rod ends

To install the ballistic fab trackbar mount I had to plate the frame. I used 1/8 inch plate and a lot of time.

Then I welded on the trackbar mount.

Then i welded on the axle side trackbar mount. I am sleeving that section of the axle for added strength

This is how it sits currently

If I remember right, he got a $400 or $500 fine. It should have been a lot more, because it's people like that make it so our trails are closed down. Tread lightly should be everyone's standard if we want to keep our trails open for years.Originally Posted by dellstopjeep
