I agree. The only one I find that wrapped around (at a decent price) was through Nates 4x4.

Finally got out and played a little today. Nothing too crazy but haven't had much free time since I finished the lift.

I'm definitely thinking some fender trimming will be happening in the spring. I wasn't close to fully flexed in this picture and the rear fender well was pretty stuffed.

Love this picture that a buddy snapped tonight as the sun was going down.

Thanks. I'm just getting started, so there are a lot of improvements yet to come.

Ordered a set of Brown Dog motor mounts tonight. The TC drop made it obvious that my motor mounts are shot. I don't know that I'll like the extra vibes from these poly mounts, but I want the rigidity that these mounts provide.

I've been debating between rubber and poly mounts too, and from what I've researched, the rubber mounts seem more forgiving, and hey, if you're getting brown dog mounts, you know they'll be tough. Just my two cents.

Agreed. I plan to replace the tranny mount as well but I hear mixed reviews as to whether to use rubber or poly. I will probably run poly there as well and if the vibes are too bad then try a rubber mount. I imagine the rubber tranny mount would wear out quicker having poly motor mounts.

How do you like those tires? I have those same wheels and plan on getting some 32's. I see those Kenda tires for a too good to pass up price all the time. So, are they real noisy, wear well, offer good traction?

I haven't run them very long, but from what I've seen so far they're well worth the money. I had a hard time getting them to balance, so I used RV antifreeze and it worked great. They make a decent amount of road noise but I feel they're fairly quiet for a M/T. In deep snow they've done great but in packed snow they're so so at best, but what M/T isn't. They seem to be wearing very well. I friend of mine is also running these and he's put about 5k miles on his and they look great.

Personally, I would recommend them. I paid $590 for all 4 and even if they don't last as long as others I'm still coming out money ahead.

I have seen them listed for $480.00 for 32 11.50 15's. I think I'll jump on that deal. I have also seen a tire brand name of Minerva for the same price, but I have not seen any info about the brand. Kenda is the better choice.

Kenda has been making tires forever. I'm a big bicycle rider and mechanic, and I've always liked Kenda bike tires. I imagine they put the same time and effort into their car tire line now. I think most of the negative reviews are from people not familiar with the company. They stand by their products. If there's a manufacturers defect, they will cover it.

Plan to swap my engine & trans mounts, paint and install my front bumper this weekend. Maybe a couple other small things if I still feel motivated after doing those.

Your jeep is looking great! Did the 32's rub any with just normal driving (not flexed out) without triming?

I have a 1999 XJ Limited and was wanting to put on a set of 2013+ Rubicon Wheels and 255/75/17's (32s) but did not want to trim.

Thanks

Thanks. Only rubbing I had on the road were the front bumper caps.

Thanks for the info. In your first post you mentioned that you had a 3" lifted xj with 31's so you have good insight to this question. For a daily driver, do you see any disadvantage with the 4.5" lift over the 3" lift? Also, after dropping the transfer case, are you happy with the vibration level of the new lift? Would you use this lift again knowing what you know now?
