Got the trim painted up. The color match with the dash is perfect. Only thing left are the doors. They will have to wait though. JCR bumper gets here tomorrow.

Nice job keep up the good work! What type of paint did you use specific to interior auto paint?

I used Rust-Oleum. But I used adhesion promoter and plastic primer. I would have rather used plastic paint but they didn't have the color.

Here is a quick shot of the color match. The pillar is the painted panel. The dash is stock.

Your on to something here I think I'll be removing my trim tomorrow and doing the same. Not sure if I'll find tan to match if not I'll decide on color. Honestly I don't mind tan but I'll do different too.

I did 3 coats. No clear. Scratches will happen. But the color of the original trim is close enough that you can't really tell. It's a Jeep it needs scratches. Lol.

Got the finishing touches on the OBA done. Almost zero exposed hose or wire. Very happy with the result.

I used a T fitting to get the hose and pressure switch on the same side. Right now I'm using a 90-120 PSI switch. After a test run I may downsize to a 80-110 or 80-100.

My last Jeep was decked out in New England pinstripes.
Kinda hard to show all the scratches in pictures but you can definitely see the battle scar down the rear passenger door.

Well that will certainly be nice! Exhaust system and more important the frame rail stiffeners. Man you must not have any kids huh?! . I mean that because of your free time available to build the jeep. Jealous!

The JCR box is actually a bumper. I already got frame stiffeners installed. And yeah no kids lol. Plus I'm on leave right now so I got nothing better to do while the lady is at work.

Unfortunately my welder ran out of gas right as the welding shop closed. So no progress to make tomorrow. But I got the exhaust done and I got the inside of the bumper fully welded. Just need to finish the outside and paint it up.

I tried my best to tuck the exhaust. This was as high as I could go without contacting anything.

First couple welds on the bumper. Probably not weld poor, but not bad if I do say so myself. This is only my second bottle through my welder so I'm still learning.

Very nice! I couldn't tell with the JCR stuff I forget they have DIY bumpers that come in pices like that so from a first glance it sure looked like frame stiffeners. Your welds are certainly looking good to me but I'm not a good judge considering I can't weld and just starting to learn.

What kind of rearend does that have? Noticed a larger than normal pumpking axle in the rear...?
