BTW how do you like the Hobart?? My friend is looking into getting the 210 Ironman. Right now we're just using my Lincoln 125 flux core. It gets the job done but MIG welds so much nicer.

Thanks man! Yeah, it doesn't help these wheels have a ton of offset. I love the wide look though.

The Hobart rocks. Very pleased with it. Even after it took a crap the first day, they next day'd the part to me, and it was up and running. Haven't had a problem since. I would buy Hobart again. I've burned through over a tank a gas and almost a full 10 lb. spool of wire in less than a month.

Yeah, i'll def. be doing some bump stopping front and rear, and limit straps also.

I finished building the new gas tank brackets, and got the gas tank put back in last night. It turned out sweet. The tank is pushed clear back, gives me about 3 inches more room for the stretch. I'll try to get some pics up before I head for Moab tomorrow!

Here you can see the tank is pushed back as far as it can go.

You can see the factory mount locations, the tank now sits about 3 inches further back.

Looks good. How much room do you have between the the truss and the tank when the suspension's compressed.

The truss isn't actually the close part. The back of the diff is what will be closest. Within an inch probably. I want it as far back as I can get it.

Look what showed up today! Alloy USA 760's for the front axle. Stronger than average u joints, full circle clips, hopefully hold up a little better... until I start breaking axle shafts.... Then i'll have to get Alloy's. Hopefully it all holds to 38's.

Well I haven't had much time to work on the XJ the last couple weeks, so I've been hunting for misc. parts that I need. Scored this set of 5100 series Bilstein's for the front yesterday, 40 bucks for the pair. I couldnt pass them up. I also picked up a complete set of TJ flares that have already been trimmed and cut to fit an XJ... but now decided I'm not going to use them. If anybody is interested let me know. New Used shocks!
