Scale from 1 to 10 for both, how hard and long did it take to change the front clip from the 97+ to the waggy. Its gunna be the next thing I do as soon as I find one to put in. its becoming hard

Ummm.. well.. i'm not really too good at wrenching and what not, so I just bought everything as a kit, that way I wouldnt have to do any welding/cutting/fabbing, i pretty much just bolted it all on.
I really should have kept it stock like yours, that way I could spend my days buried in a mud puddle like the pic of you in your photo album. That sounds way funner.

so did you come up with any ideas on making the lower coil spring mounts? I redid the pass side on mine, tying into the radius arm, track bar bolt, and the mount I had welded onto the axle tube. Did it in conjunction with moving the steering over the knuckle. I am getting close to wristing the passenger side; I got the ballistic joints and DOM last week; just dreading all the cutting and grinding on the radius arms!

Things I am going to try and get done before then...
-Put carpet back in to quiet everything inside down.
-Fix the front coil mounts.
-Try and get my rear quarters plated and tail light boxes made.
-Do something with the front shafts, as i have a broken inner and outer as of right now.
-Fix the belt thats still squealing its *** off.

Yeah, I have an idea of what i'm going to do. Do you have any pics of what you did? It should all be done this weekend I hope. I just barely unloaded it off the trailer from the New Years day run. I am taking it to St. George on Feb. 17th so I need to get it ready to go.

here is a link to my pics for the recent front steering and coil bucket mod. I still have to do the drivers side. I have all the stuff to make new radius arms with the ballistic joints on the frame end. I think I will run it without wristing for a while just to see how it does After looking at yours and a few others, I think I will have plenty of flex unwristed! I am not real happy with the drag link and the tie rod both connecting to the knuckle and think I will move the drag link connection to the tie rod. I do like the way the coil bucket/ pan hard bar mount turned out.

shoot, I forgot the link! try this http://chattacuda.zenfolio.com/p900101527
So instead of dealing with getting the bolt out, I went up and over the arms. No finished pics but you get the idea... we also tied it into the knuckle at the top, that parts not in the pics.

After we got the front of mine back together we decided to throw some paint at my buddies buggy... couple hours of prep work and a trip to the paint store and... 2010 Camaro Synergy Green.

dang you can paint! I like your mounts too! I have a broken bolt in that same spot also. wtf? Looks like lots of work to make it how your new set up is lol. I think I will just drill it and tap it for a bigger one.

sounds and look like that thing takes a good beating when your out! lol
