A few teaser pics. I'll have to get the ones of it on it's side from my buddy.

Goin to get some sleep... I'll post some more pics a little later.

We took her out this weekend and beat on it pretty good. Overall, VERY IMPRESSED.

A big thanks to Stratton for his help on this thing. I think all the hardwork, planning, changing things, was all worth it. It is 10X more capable than before, seems very well-balanced and predictabe. I think we pushed it pretty hard for 38's on a D44 front and it held up well with no issues.

Friday night we got to Little Moab, started beating it around a little. Somehow I ended up ripping the steering box off. Broke one mounting tab, broke one bolt off, and bent the third. It had to have been fatigued or hurt previously. I headed for salt lake around 10:00 PM, arrived back to little Moab with a box, new bolts, and pitman arm puller about 12:15 am. By 2:00 AM she was up and running again. While this did bum me out, it wasnt an issue with anything we did in the build, we never touched the box, it was just it's time.

Still got some small stuff to do: finish rear sheet metal, pull carpet and line interior, beat the door out and put a new mirror on after laying it on it's side. But at least it's wheelable for now. I'll keep updating this as I go.

I have a few pics, hopefully Strat will throw some more up if he's got them.

Yeah, got the mirror, the door, a-pillar, some scratches in my freshly painted fender. But yeah, I got it on the second try. It was good times.

Great build
just read from start to finish. Amazing job. Looks good and goes good; what more could you ask for? I have the same front end under mine ( 78 Bronco, full width). Like you, those year D44s with the cast ends dictate use of the ford ends. I just have bushings on the body end mounts and not happy with how mine flexes. It looks like you got plenty of flex with your setup on the front. Gotta put those ends on mine. Also like how you made the tapered and offset coil mounts. Nice build.

Do you remember what rear coils springs you used? I have the same set up and mine sits too high ( about 7 1/2 inches lift) and I am looking to go to about 5 1/2. Thanks
